ABOUT VIXYS

Having grown up in Bradford on Avon and being lucky enough to have had a fantastic childhood I knew I wanted to keep my roots here. I love the community and people who live and visit, for however long. It’s one of those places where people know their neighbours and are nearly always willing to help when they can. 

It’s also never really changed and although I moved (less than 10 miles away) I knew I wanted to be around this area. 

My parents have always been self-employed and seeing how hard they’ve worked I was encouraged me to pursue whatever it was I wanted to do with their full support.

Discovering how different places treat both customers and staff enabled me to know I wanted to work for myself. But more importantly, how I wanted my customers and staff to feel. I’ve always been good with people and this came from growing up and living onsite of my parent’s business. It didn’t come naturally, but now feels a part of who I am.

The opportunity to become self-employed came into being as the previous owners, a couple I’ve known my whole life were looking to retire and wanted to sell. After a conversation and a few days to think it over, this became my first business. 

Being my first venture, I’ve been so grateful to all the advice and support I’ve had when I’ve been testing, changing and adding to the ever-increasing menu, and I’m looking forward to many more years of serving the community.
